NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR FORFEITURE OF DETAINED CASH (FORM G)

SECTION298(1) PROCEEDS OF CRIME ACT (POCA) 2002 (AS AMMENDED) MC (DETENTION AND FORFEITURE OF CASH) RULES 2002 R 7 (1)

On Friday 7th February 2025, an application will be made on behalf of the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit to Stevenage Magistrates Court for an order for forfeiture of £8,600 cash seized at London Luton Airport on 27th November 2024.

The ERSOU Proceeds of Crime Unit believe that the funds (plus interest accrued) or part thereof is:

a) Recoverable property; and or

b) Is intended by any person for use in unlawful conduct

Any person with an interest in the cash may object to the proposed forfeiture.

Any such objection should be sent in writing to:

If no objection is received, the forfeiture of the detained cash will proceed on 7th February 2025 and no further notice will be given.
