THE TDK-EPC UK DC RETIREMENT AND DEATH BENEFITS SCHEME (“THE SCHEME”)

(formerly the EPCOS UK Ltd. Retirement and Death Benefits Scheme)

Notice is hereby given under section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 (as amended) and any other relevant power, that the Trustees of The TDK-EPC UK DC Retirement and Death Benefits Scheme will shortly be winding-up the Scheme.

This notice is addressed to any former members and their beneficiaries, any creditor, any members or any beneficiary of the Scheme or any other person who believes they have a claim against or entitlement to a pension or benefit from, or an interest in the Scheme.

Any such person who has not already been contacted by the Trustees about their claim, should write and provide details of their membership, interest, claim or entitlement to:

The Trustees of The TDK-EPC UK DC Retirement and Death Benefits Scheme, c/o TDK UK Limited, Bridge House, Brants Bridge, Bracknell, Berkshire, England, RG12 9BG; or Email Chris.Maidment@tdk.com.

When contacting the Trustees, please provide your full name, any former names by which you may have been known, date of birth, address, National Insurance number and if applicable, dates of employment or engagement with TDK UK Limited (formerly EPCOS UK LTD) and copies of any relevant papers to make a claim. Please quote the Scheme name in all correspondence.

After this date, the Trustees will proceed to complete the wind-up of the Scheme, distribute the assets of the Scheme, and secure benefits for any remaining beneficiaries, having regard only to the claims and interests of which they have prior notice. The Trustees will not be liable to or in respect of any person whose claims, interests, entitlements and demands the Trustees do not have notice at the expiration of a period of two months of the date of publication of this notice.

If the Trustee has already been in contact with you at your current address (for example, if you have received correspondence from the Trustee during the last 12 months), or you are currently receiving a pension from the Scheme, or you have already made a claim and received a response, you need not reply to this notice as your interest has already been noted.

It would be of assistance to us if you can bring this notice to the attention of anyone else you know of who may have a claim against or entitlement to a pension or benefit from, or an interest in the Scheme.
