The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (North West) (No. 51) Order 2024" authorising the stopping up of an area of Palatine Street at Bolton in the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton. This is to enable development as permitted by Bolton Council, under reference 09993/20.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NW/S247/5866). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Bolton Central Library, Le Mans Crescent, Bolton BL1 1SE.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 5 December 2024.
