PROPOSED NEW PARALLEL CROSSING ON NEW WIDENED SPEED TABLE IN BROWELLS LANE AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN DANESBURY ROAD

A. THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HOUNSLOW (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hounslow propose to make the above-mentioned Order, under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The effect of the Order would be to implement;

(a) A no waiting at any time restriction in Danesbury Road, Hounslow, for a distance of 4.8 metres in a south-easterly direction from the south-eastern property boundary of No. 86 Danesbury Road.

2. The London Borough of Hounslow GIVES FURTHER NOTICE in exercise of its powers under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to;

(a) Convert the existing Zebra Crossing to a Parallel Crossing on Browells Lane at a point approximately 41 metres north-east of the north-eastern building line of Nos. 1-18 Astrid House, Browells Lane, to cater for cycle movements.

3. NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that The London Borough of Hounslow under Section 90A-C of the Highways Act 1980 intends to introduce the following traffic calming measures;

(a) 75mm high raised tables across the entire width of the carriageway with 1:12 gradient ramps in Browells Lane, Hounslow from a point approximately 41 metres north-east of the north-eastern building line of Nos. 1-18 Astrid House, Browells Lane for a distance of 8.9 metres in a north-easterly direction

4. Documents giving further information of the proposed Orders and flat-top road hump can be viewed for a period of 21 days from the date of this Notice online at hounslow.gov.uk by typing in the term “traffic notices” in the search bar and at Hounslow Library, Hounslow House First Floor, 7 Bath Road, TW3 3EB or at The Reception of Hounslow House, Ground Floor, 7 Bath Road, TW3 3EB on Mondays and Thursdays between 9.30am and 8pm, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays between 9.30am and 5.30pm or on Sundays between 11.30am and 4.00pm.

4. Any person wishing to object to the proposals should send a statement in writing stating the grounds of their objection to the Assistant Director for Traffic, Transport and Parking, Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road, Hounslow, Middlesex TW3 3EB or via email to trafficorders@hounslow.gov.uk quoting the reference TMO/P043/24, to be received no later than 6 December 2024.
