1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The London Borough of Hounslow proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Order would be to:

a) Replace existing single yellow line restrictions with No waiting at any time restrictions in;

a. Brent Road; both sides at its junction with Brentside; both sides at its junction with Somerset Road; both sides at its junction with The Butts

b. Brentside; for its entire extent except in signed bays

c. Church Walk; south-west side, for its entire extent except in signed bays and from the party wall of Nos. 12a & 14 Church Walk to a point 3 metres south-east of Nos. 15 & 16 Church Walk

d. Robin Grove; both sides at its junction with Church Walk

e. Somerset Road; both sides at its junction with Brent Road; south-east side, from the south-western boundary of No. 18 Somerset Road to a point 3 metres south-west of the north-eastern boundary of No. 4 Brent Road; north-west side, from a point 11 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 11a & 11b Somerset Road to a point 2.5 metres north-east of the party wall of Nos. 17 & 19 Somerset Road

f. The Butts; both sides at its junction with Half Acre; north-west side from a point 3.5 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 17 & 17a The Butts south-westwards to the junction with Brent Road except in signed bay; south-east side from a point 1.5 metres north-east of the south-western building line of No. 26 The Butts south-westwards to the junction with Brent Road; south-west side, the parking area fronting Nos. 26-46 The Butts for its entire extent except in signed bays; south-east side, the parking area fronting Nos. 26-46, from the north-eastern building line of No. 36a The Butts to a point 6 metres south-west of the south-western building line of No. 38a The Butts except in signed bay; north-east side, the parking area fronting Nos. 26-46 The Butts, from the main carriageway of The Butts to a point 1 metre south-east of the north-western building line of No. 24 The Butts

g. Upper Butts; north-east side for its entire extent; south-west side for its entire extent except in signed bays and from a point 7 metres north-west of the north-western building line of No. 17a The Butts north-westwards for a distance of 5 metres

h. Willow Close; both sides at its junction with Church Walk; north-west side for its entire extent except in signed bays

b) Implement a no waiting at any time restriction in Argyle Avenue outside Nos. 21-23 Argyle Avenue

3. Replace existing single yellow line restriction with resident permit holders only (The Butts CPZ) parking bays in; Brentside, south-west side, outside Nos. 10-16 Brentside; Somerset Road, south-east side, outside Nos. 6-12 Somerset Lodge; Robin Grove, north-west side, outside No. 35 Robin Grove, outside No.29 Robin Grove, outside Nos. 24-27 Robin Grove; south-east side, outside Nos. 4-6 Robin Grove, outside Nos. 11-13 Robin Grove

4. The general effect of the The Butts Parking Places Order would be to implement resident permit holders only (The Butts CPZ) parking bays in place of existing shared use permit holder and paid bays in:

a. Brent Road; south-west side, outside Nos. 3-5 Brent Road

b. The Butts; north-west side: outside No.1 The Butts; outside No. 3 The Butts; outside Nos. 5/7 The Butts; outside No. 9 The Butts; outside Nos. 11/13 The Butts; outside No.15 The Butts; outside No. 17 The Butts; outside No. 17a The Butts; outside Nos. 19-23 The Butts; south-east side, outside Nos. 16-24 The Butts; north-east side, the parking area fronting Nos. 26-46 The Butts, outside Nos. 26-34 The Butts

c. Somerset Road; north-west side outside Nos. 19-29

5. The London Borough of Hounslow (Loading Places) (2009, No.1) (Amendment No. 17) Order 2012 is hereby revoked, removing existing loading places on;

a. Alexandra Road; south-west side, adjacent to No. 1-6 Red Lion Court

b. Wells Lane; north-west side, opposite the rear of Nos. 182-192 High Street; north-west side, opposite the rear of Nos. 162-170 High Street

6. Documents giving further information of the proposed Orders can be viewed for a period of 21 days from the date of this Notice online at hounslow.gov.uk by typing in the term “traffic notices” in the search bar and at Hounslow Library, Hounslow House First Floor, 7 Bath Road, TW3 3EB or at The Reception of Hounslow House, Ground Floor, 7 Bath Road, TW3 3EB on Mondays and Thursdays between 9.30am and 8pm, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays between 9.30am and 5.30pm or on Sundays between 11.30am and 4.00pm.

7. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing, stating the grounds of the objection, to the Assistant Director of Traffic, Transport & Parking, Hounslow Council, Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road, Hounslow, Middlesex TW3 3EB or by email to trafficorders@hounslow.gov.uk quoting the reference TMO/P039/24, to be received by no later than 6 December 2024.
