THE CENTER PARCS SENIOR PENSION SCHEME (THE “SCHEME”) – WIND UP OF THE SCHEME

IMPORTANT NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925

Pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, the Trustees of the Scheme hereby give notice that the winding-up of the Scheme will shortly be completed. The Scheme’s Trustees wish to trace any persons who believe that they may have any right to benefits from the Scheme and have not received correspondence by post from the Trustees regarding the buyout of their benefits with an insurer.

The Trustees request that (a) any former employee of Center Parcs (UK) Group Limited or Center Parcs Limited, or if such a person is deceased (b) the spouse or dependant of that person, who in either case is (or thinks they might be) entitled to benefits under the Scheme, (c) any person (or the spouse or dependant of that person) who was previously a member of the Scheme but who transferred their benefits out of the Scheme and (d) any other person who believes they may have a claim against the Scheme, provides written particulars of any such entitlement or claim to:

The Trustees of the Center Parcs Senior Pension Scheme, c/o Hymans Robertson LLP, 45 Church Street, Birmingham, B3 2RT.

Please provide full details of your claim and any benefits that you think you are entitled to, and include your full name, address, date of birth and national insurance number.

If you want to make a claim, you must contact the Trustees by 11 December 2024. After this date, the Trustees will, in reliance on Section 27 of the 1925 Act, distribute any remaining assets and wind up the Scheme, and in doing so, will have regard only to the claims of which they currently have notice. If you do not contact the Trustees regarding any claim within this period, the Trustees will not be liable for any claim you make regarding the Scheme.

You do not need to contact the Trustees if you have received correspondence from the Trustees regarding the buy-out and wind up of the Scheme.
