NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925 EMPLOYER NAME: THE CATHOLIC AGENCY FOR OVERSEAS DEVELOPMENT (CAFOD) PENSION SCHEME NAME: THE CATHOLIC AGENCY FOR OVERSEAS DEVELOPMENT RETIREMENT AND DEATH BENEFITS SCHEME

The Catholic Agency for Overseas Development Retirement and Death Benefits Scheme (the “Scheme”) commenced winding up on 1 August 2024. All pension funds of the Scheme’s known members and their beneficiaries are being transferred, assigned or paid out as requested by the members. The Scheme is currently administered by and assets are held with Aviva Life & Pensions UK Limited, previously called Friends Life Limited. The Scheme originally commenced in 1987, administered by Friends Provident.

Anyone who believes that he or she is a member of the Scheme, or anyone who believes they have any other interest, claim or entitlement in relation to the Scheme as they are a widow/widower, child or dependent of such a member but has not already been contacted by the Trustees about the winding up, should write and provide details of their membership, interest, claim or entitlement to: c/o Sarah Marshall, Fairfield Pension Trustees Limited, 2nd Floor, Tuition House, 27-37 St George’s Road, Wimbledon, SW19 4EU or e-mail SMarshall@pipg.co.uk

When contacting the Trustees please provide your full name, any former names by which you may have been known, your National Insurance Number and current contact details and any documentation that can support your claim.

You should contact the Trustees at the above address on or before 5th November 2024. After the expiry of the two-month period the Scheme shall be wound up and the Trustees of the Scheme will have regard only to claims of which they have prior written notice and will not be liable in respect of any person whose claim has not been notified to them in writing within two months of the date of publication of this notice.
