The trustees of the Plan (the Trustees) hereby give notice for the purpose of section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 that the Plan will shortly be wound up.

The Trustees wish to trace any person who believes that they may have any right to benefits from the Plan and who did not receive a letter from the Trustees in July 2024 notifying them that the Plan is being wound up.

Any such person is required to send details of their claim and any benefits that they believe they are entitled to in writing to the Trustees within TWO MONTHS of the date of publication of this notice. After the expiry of this two-month period, the assets of the Plan will be distributed having regard only to the claims and interests of which the Trustees had notice of before the expiry of this two-month period.

If you are or were an employee of the Kennedys Law LLP (the Plan’s sponsoring employer) and a member of the Plan, or a dependant of a deceased member of the Plan, and believe you are entitled to benefits under the Plan but have not been contacted in respect of those benefits, please write to the Trustees within TWO MONTHS of the date of publication of this notice and provide details of your address and any benefits to which you believe you are entitled. If you already receive a pension from the Plan, or you have received a letter from the Trustees regarding the winding up of the Plan, you do not need to write to the Trustees as the Trustees are already aware of your interest under the Plan. However, please do continue to let the Trustees know using the contact details set out above if there is any change to your personal details (address, marital status etc).
