NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, and 46 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

As part of a highways section 278 planning agreement on West Hendon Broadway NW9, the general effect of the above Order will be to:

1. Reduce the length of the southbound Bus Lane on the northeast side of The Hyde/ West Hendon Broadway NW9 between Hyde Estate Road and No.192 West Hendon Broadway. As a result of this amendment a section of southbound Bus Lane between Herbert Road and Station Road NW9 would be removed.

2. Introduce a length of Bus Lane on the northeast side of West Hendon Broadway NW9 between No.208 West Hendon Broadway and No.192 West Hendon Broadway operating between the hours of 7am to 10am and 4pm and 7pm Monday to Saturday.

3. Reduce the length of the northbound Bus Lane on the southwest side of West Hendon Broadway NW9 between the junction of Cool Oak Lane and No.193 West Hendon Broadway. As a result of this amendment the section of bus Lane between the south arm of Perryfield Way and the north arm of Perryfield Way will be removed.

4. Revoke the southbound Bus Lane situated on the northwest side of Station Road NW4 between No.14 Station Road and the junction of West Hendon Broadway.

5. Remove a length of Pay and Display parking bay operating between the hours of 10am to 4pm Monday to Saturday (Max stay 2 hours) situated on the northeast side of West Hendon Broadway NW9 between No. 244 West Hendon Broadway and No.260 West Hendon Broadway.

6. Remove a length of “No waiting and no loading” restrictions operating between the hours of 7am to 10am and 4pm to 7pm Monday to Saturday situated on the northeast side of West Hendon Broadway NW9 between No.244 and No.260 West Hendon Broadway.

Any person wishing to object to or comment on the proposed Orders should send a written statement explaining their objection/comments, and quoting reference number SCR586 (A5 Bus Lane amendments RP), to the Design Team, London Borough of Barnet, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale NW9 4EW, via the Barnet TraffWeb website or via email to parking.consultations@barnet.gov.uk within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
