Notice to Customers – Silverbird Global Limited (in Special Administration) (the “Company”); Regulation 20 of  The Payment and Electronic Money Institution Insolvency Regulations 2021 (“the Regulations”); Rule 110 of  The Payment and Electronic Money Institution Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2021 (“the Rules”)

The Joint Special Administrators hereby give notice, in accordance with regulation 20(2) of the Regulations and rule 110 of the Rules, as follows:

The Joint Special Administrators consider that it is necessary, in order to expedite the return of relevant funds, to set a bar date of 12 August 2024 (the “Bar Date”) in respect of relevant funds claims, being claims customers of the Company may have in respect of funds that were received by the Company for the execution of a payment transaction or received in exchange for electronic money (“Relevant Funds Claims”).

The Bar Date only applies to Relevant Funds Claims and does not relate to any other type of claim that you may have against the Company.

Once the Bar Date has passed, and following court approval of a distribution plan, the Joint Special Administrators shall, in accordance with the time periods specified in the Regulations and the Rules, make a distribution (or distri­butions) from the relevant funds asset pool to the Company’s customers who have a Relevant Funds Claim that has been admitted by the Joint Special Administrators.

If you have not yet submitted a Relevant Funds Claim, please complete and send a ‘Proof of Debt – Customer Form’ to the Special Administrators by either:

(i) email to Silverbird@frpadvisory.com; or

(ii) post to Silverbird Global Limited, 2nd Floor 110 Cannon Street, London, EC4N 6EU,

on or before 12 August 2024 so that the Administrators can consider and potentially agree your claim. The Proof of Debt – Customer Form and all other documents relevant to the Special Administration are available on the website https://creditors.frpadvisory.com, which can be accessed with login code S3500LON.

Regulations 20(5) to (10) of the Regulations and rule 115 of the Rules set out how Relevant Funds Claims received after the Bar Date shall be treated.
