The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (North East) (No. 13) Order 2024" authorising the stopping up of a network of highways between Fallow Road and Lizard Lane, at Horsley Hill in the Metropolitan Borough of South Tyneside. This is to enable development as permitted by South Tyneside Council, under reference ST/0691/23/LAA.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NE/S247/5690). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Horsley Hill Post Office, 22 Horsley Hill Square, South Shields, NE34 7HQ.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 26 June 2024.
