1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The London Borough of Hounslow proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Section 15 of the Greater London Council Act 1974 and Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to:

(a) Implement no waiting at any time restrictions in;

(i) Cambridge Road, the north-west side, outside No. 35, No. 41, Nos. 79 to 85, No. 107, No. 109 and No. 119 Cambridge Road and opposite its junction with Road Lane and opposite No. 3 Toad Lane;

(ii) Cambridge Road, the south-east side, outside Nos. 4 to 38, No. 56 and No. 132 Cambridge Road and adjacent to No. 3 Toad Lane;

(iii) Trinity Close, both sides, from its junction with Cambridge Road to outside Nos. 7 and 8 Trinity Close;

(iv) Selwyn Close, both sides, for its entire extents;

(v) Bowness Drive, the east side, adjacent to St John’s Mar Thoma Church;

(vi) Bowness Drive, the west side, from its junction with Cambridge Road to opposite No. 4 Bowness Drives;

(vii) Ashton Gardens, the west side, from its junction with Cambridge Road to outside No. 1 Ashton Gardens;

(viii) Belgrave Road, the west side, adjacent to No. 41 Cambridge Road;

(vix) Belgrave Road, the east side, from its junction with Cambridge Road to opposite the rear of No. 17 Clare Road;

(b) Implement shared use permit holders and paid bays;

(i) operating Monday to Friday (inclusive of) 9am to 11am in Cambridge Road, the south-east side, adjacent to No. 134 Martindale Road, outside St John’s Mar Thoma Church (Hounslow West CPZ);

(ii) operating Monday to Friday (inclusive of) 9am to 11am in Cambridge Road, the north-west side, opposite Nos. 4 to 8 Cambridge Road and opposite No. 3 Toad Lane (Hounslow West CPZ);

(iii) operating Monday to Friday (inclusive of) 9.30am to 5.30pm and Saturday 9.30am-12.30pm with a maximum stay of 2 hours for non-permit holders in Standard Road, both sides, adjacent to Nos. 75 and 77 Cambridge Road (Hounslow West CPZ)

; (iii) operating Monday to Friday (inclusive of) 9.30am to 5.30pm and Saturday 9.30am-12.30pm with a maximum stay of 2 hours for non-permit holders in Clare Road, both sides, adjacent to Nos. 55 and 57 Cambridge Road (Hounslow West CPZ);

(c) Implement resident permit holders only (Cranbrook Road Area CPZ) parking bays operating Monday to Friday (inclusive of) from 9am to 11am in;

(i) Cambridge Road, the north-west side, outside Nos. 25/27, Nos. 29/31, Nos. 33/35, Nos. 45 to 53, Nos. 57 to 65, Nos. 85/87, No. 91, Nos. 99/101, Nos. 103/105, No. 107, No. 109, Nos. 111/113, Nos. 115/117 and Nos. 115/117 Cambridge Road and opposite Nos. 98a to 102 and 110 to 114 Cambridge Road;

(ii) Cambridge Road, the south-east side, outside Nos. 44 to 54, Nos. 66 to 78, Nos. 98 to 102, No. 122, No. 126, Nos. 128 to 132 and Nos. 144 to 152 Cambridge Road;

(iii) Bowness Drive, the west side, opposite Nos. 4 to 10, Nos. 16 to 20, Nos. 22/4 and Nos. 28 to 26 Bowness Drive;

(iv) Bowness Drive, the east side, outside No. 26 Bowness Drive;,

(v) Cranbrook Road, the west side, outside Nos. 2 to 16, Nos. 18/20, Nos. 22 to 26, No. 28 Nos. 30/32, Nos. 32/34 and Nos. 38/40 Cranbrook Road and adjacent to No. 335 Staines Road;

(vi) Cranbrook Road, the east side, outside Nos. 5/7, Nos. 9.11, No. 13, No. 23/25, No. 29/31, No. 33/35, No. 37/39 and No. 41 Cranbrook Road and adjacent to No. 333 Staines Road;

(vii) Ashton Gardens, the east side, outside Nos. 19/21, Nos. 23/35, Nos. 27 and No. 29 Ashton Gardens and adjacent to No. 30 Cambridge Road;

(viii) Ashton Gardens, the west side, outside Nos. 25/17 Ashton Gardens;

(d) Implement no waiting restrictions operating Monday to Friday (inclusive of) from 9am to 11am in the lengths of Cambridge Road, Bowness Drive, Cranbrook Road and Ashton Gardens not covered by the proposed restrictions in sections 2(a), 2(b) and 2(c) of this notice;

3. Permit costs for the proposed Cranbrook Road Area Controlled Parking Permits would be as follows; 1st vehicle permit cost for 1 year £84, 2nd vehicle permit cost for 1 year £168, 3rd vehicle permit cost for 1 year £252, 4th vehicle permit cost for 1 year £336, 5th vehicle permit cost for 1 year £420, low/zero emission petrol vehicle permit for 1 year £0 and a diesel surcharge of £62.50;

Documents giving further information of the proposed Orders can be viewed for a period of 21 days from the date of this Notice online at hounslow.gov.uk by typing in the term “traffic notices” in the search bar and at Hounslow Library, Hounslow House First Floor, 7 Bath Road, TW3 3EB or at The Reception of Hounslow House, Ground Floor, 7 Bath Road, TW3 3EB on Mondays and Thursdays between 9.30am and 8pm, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays between 9.30am and 5.30pm or on Sundays between 11.30am and 4.00pm.

4. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing stating the grounds of their objection to the Assistant Director for Traffic, Transport and Parking, Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road, Hounslow, Middlesex TW3 3EB or via email to trafficorders@hounslow.gov.uk quoting the reference TMO/P018/24, to be received no later than Friday 14th May 2024.
