LONDON BOROUGH OF EALING
REVISIONS TO PARKING AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN ST. STEPHEN’S AVENUE AND REVISIONS TO PARKING IN THE AVENUE, W13
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing on 20th May 2024 made the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended:
• The Ealing (West Ealing) (Residents Parking Places) (Amendment No.15) Order 2024; and
• The Ealing (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No.901) Order 2024.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to:
(a) remove zone ‘HH’ permit holders parking space in The Avenue, W13, on the west side opposite No. 72 The Avenue (8 metres of parking space) and on the east side outside No. 78 The Avenue (6.4 metres of parking space) to allow zig zag markings to be placed in association with the provision of a pedestrian crossing; and
(b) remove zone ‘HH’ permit holders parking space on the south-west side of St. Stephen’s Avenue (the carriageway surrounding St. Stephen’s Court), adjacent to No. 1 St. Stephen’s Avenue (14.1 metres of parking space) and replace it with ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions.
3. The Orders, which will come into operation on 24th May 2024, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders including plans, are available by e-mail from trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk or for inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until 1st July 2024.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any relevant requirements thereof or any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 1st July 2024.
