ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A20 AND A210 GLA ROADS (ELTHAM ROAD, ROYAL BOROUGH OF GREENWICH) PRESCRIBED ROUTES TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
THE GLA ROADS (LONDON BOROUGH OF GREENWICH) (BUS PRIORITY) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2009 A20 AND A210 GLA ROADS (ELTHAM ROAD) VARIATION ORDER 2024
1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that on 15th April 2024 it made the above named Orders, under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Orders will come into force on 22nd April 2024.
2. The general nature and effect of the Orders will:
1) introduce a westbound bus lane on Eltham Road between its junction with Sidcup Road and a point 56 metres westwards, operating ‘At Any Time’, allowing Buses, Dial-a-Ride Buses, Pedal Cycles, Taxis and Solo Motorcycles;
2) introduce an eastbound bus lane on Eltham Road between its junction with Sidcup Road and a point 63 metres eastwards, operating ‘At Any Time’, allowing Buses, Dial-a-Ride Buses, Pedal Cycles, Taxis and Solo Motorcycles;
3) prescribe that all vehicles must turn left if in lane one of Eltham Road eastbound at its junction with Kidbrooke Park Road, except Buses, Dial-a-Ride Buses, Pedal Cycles, Taxis and Solo Motorcycles;
4) prescribe that all vehicles must proceed ahead only in lane two of Eltham Road eastbound at its junction with Kidbrooke Park Road;
5) prescribe that all vehicles must turn right if in lane three of Eltham Road eastbound at its junction with Kidbrooke Park Road;
6) prescribe that all vehicles must turn left if in lane one of Eltham Road westbound at its junction with the dedicated left turn slip road connecting the westbound carriageway of Eltham Road and the south-eastbound carriageway of Sidcup Road, except Buses, Dial-a-Ride Buses, Pedal Cycles, Taxis and Solo Motorcycles.
3. The roads which would be affected by the Orders are the A20 and A210 GLA Roads – Eltham Road in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
4. A copy of the Orders, a map indicating the location and effect of the Orders and copies of any Order(s) revoked, suspended or varied by the Orders can be inspected by appointment at our offices at the address below by emailing trafficordersection@tfl.gov.uk. Copies of the documents may be requested via email at trafficordersection@tfl.gov.uk, or by post at the following address quoting reference NP/REGULATION/STOT/BS/TRO/GLA/2024/0266-0267:

5. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
