1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hackney, in accordance with the Section 90C of the Highway Act 1980 as amended proposes to introduce a raised cycle track, as detailed in schedule 1 of this notice.

2. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Hackney proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended;

The general effect of the Orders will be as follows;

a) John Campbell Road

(i) Introduce double yellow lines, with no waiting “at any time” restrictions on both the southern and northern kerb lines, from the junction with Kingsland High Street for a distance of 15.8m westwards.

b) Sandringham Road

(i) 17.5m east from the junction with Kingsland High Street (southern kerb) remove Taxis only parking bay and replace it with 20m of double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions.

(ii) 6m east of Birkbeck Mews (southern kerb) remove 15m of chargeable bay and replace it with double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions.

(iii) Compulsory Left turn from Birkbeck Mews into Sandringham Road except for pedal cycles.

(iv) Compulsory Left turn from Birkbeck Road into Sandringham Road except for pedal cycles.

(v) Introduce one way in Sandringham Road from the junction of Kingsland High Street to the eastern kerb line of Birkbeck Road, traffic flowing east to west only.

(vi) Introduce a new eastbound segregated contraflow cycle track at the junction with Kingsland High Street for a distance of 48m eastwards.

Note: The carriageway will be raised to install a raised cycle track. The maximum height of the table will be 100mm.
