Notice is hereby given that North Warwickshire Borough Council following the resolution of its Cabinet on 21 February 2024, designated the extension to the Water Orton Conservation Area in pursuance of its powers under section 69 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, as amended.

Conservation areas exist to manage and protect the special architectural and historic interest of a place. The designated area will become subject to planning regulations and controls set out under the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 to protect the historic and architectural interests which make the place special.

The Water Orton Conservation Area Appraisal, Management Plan and map of the designated area may be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours at the Council House, South Street, Atherstone, CV9 1DE or via our website: Conservation and Heritage downloads | North Warwickshire (northwarks.gov.uk)
