THE CAMDEN (20MPH SPEED LIMITS) (AMENDMENT NO. 2) TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Camden on 22 February 2024 have made the above Order under sections 84 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The general nature and effect of the Order will be to further amend the Camden (20mph Speed Limits) Traffic Order 2013, so as to formalise 20mph speed limits in the following streets and parts of streets:-

20 miles per hour speed limits:

Agincourt Road, NW3 - between its junctions with Constantine Road and Lisburne Road;

Constantine Road, NW3;

Courthorpe Road, NW3;

Cressy Road, NW3 - between its junctions with Savernake Road and Agincourt Road;

Estelle Road, NW3;

Lisburne Road, NW3;

Mackeson Road, NW3;

Mansfield Road, NW3;

Roderick Road, NW3;

Rona Road, NW3;

Savernake Road, NW3; and

Shirlock Road, NW3.

In addition, the Order will make a minor correction to the wording of the Articles of the Order of 2013, so as to improve comprehension of their provisions.

Copies of the Order, which will come into force on 26 February 2024, and of other documents relating to the Order may be viewed at camden.gov.uk/recently-advertised-proposals or obtained by contacting traffic.orders@camden.gov.uk or may be inspected in person by appointment only at 5 Pancras Square, London, N1C 4AG, between the hours of 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays excluding bank and public holidays (please contact traffic.orders@camden.gov.uk to arrange an appointment).

Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
