THE TEVERSHAM AWARD DRAINS VARIATION ORDER

Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 32(5) of the Land Drainage Act 1991, proposes to make an Order confirming a Scheme submitted by the Environment Agency under section 32(1) of the Act.

The scheme makes provision for:

i) diverting a length of a drain situated in the Parish of Cherry Hinton as a result of development being carried out in the area.

A copy of the Order, may be requested by email or telephone from:

a) Offices of the Environment Agency at Bromholme Lane, Bampton, Huntington, PE28 4NE, and the map can be inspected between 9a.m and 4p.m (on working days), for a period of thirty days after the date of publication of this Notice.

b) Offices of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Seacole House, 2 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DF) by contacting: William.Harrington@defra.gov.uk, Telephone: 020 8026 4273, for a period of thirty days after the date of publication of this Notice. Any objection to the draft Order should be made in writing and sent via e-mail to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, to the above contact, within the period mentioned above.
