THE REDBRIDGE (WAITING, LOADING, STOPPING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2021 (AMENDMENT NO. 4) ORDER 2024
The Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and of all other enabling powers, on the 7th February 2024 made the above-mentioned Order, the effect of which will be to:
1. Implement electric vehicle charging parking places in; (i) Aberdour Road IG3, the east side, alongside No. 33 Abbotsford Road; (ii) Arundel Gardens IG3, the south-west side, alongside No. 560 Green Lane; (iii) Chudleigh Crescent IG3, the west side, opposite Nos. 17/19/21 Chudleigh Crescent; (iv) Dawlish Drive IG3, the south-east side, alongside No. 152 Goodmayes Lane; (v) Esher Road IG3, the south-east side, opposite the side of No. 75 Holmwood Road and No. 80 Guildford Road; (vi) Eton Road IG1, the south-east side alongside No. 2 Twyford Road; (vii) Felbrigge Road IG3, the south-west side, alongside No. 20 Gartmore Road; (viii) Frimley Road IG3, the north-west side, alongside No. 124 Betchworth Road; (ix) Golfe Road IG1, the north side, alongside No. 55 Gordon Road; (x) Haslemere Road IG3, the south-west side, alongside No. 371 Green Lane; (xi) Hazeldene Road IG3, the west side, alongside No. 49 Abbotsford Road; (xii) Henley Road IG1, the south side, opposite Nos. 355/357/359 Henley Road; (xiii) Henley Road IG1, the south-east side, alongside No. 15 South Park Road; (xiv) Harrow Road IG1, the north-east side, alongside No. 1 Staines Road; (xv) Meadway IG3, the west side, alongside No. 42 Dawlish Drive; (xvi) Mortlake Road IG1, the south-east side, alongside No. 145 Gordon Road; (xvii) Richmond Road IG1, the south-west side, alongside No. 168 Kingston Road; (xviii) South Park Road IG1, the east side, opposite Nos. 60/62 South Park Road; (xix) Sunnyside Road IG1, the north-east side, alongside No. 265 Kingston Road; (xx) Sunnyside Road IG1, the north-east side, alongside No. 221 Mortlake Road; (xxi) Winchester Road IG1, the north-west side, alongside No. 47 Sunnyside Road; and (xxii) Woodlands Road IG1, the south-west side, alongside No. 89 Eton Road;
2. Implement electric vehicle charging parking place operating at all times with a max stay 4hours and no return within 1 hour between Monday to Sunday 8.30am to 6.30pm, in Granton Road IG3, the south-west side, outside the side of No. 31 Ashgrove Road;
3. Reduce the length of double yellow lines in Aberdour Road IG3, the east side, outside the side of No. 33 Abbotsford Road.
4. Revoke existing underlying waiting and parking restrictions at all locations mentioned in Sections 1 to 3 (inclusive of) of this notice;
5. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 9th February 2024, together with the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order, the map schedules and map schedule legend indicating the locations and the effects may be examined at the Customer Centre, Lynton House, 255 to 259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY Monday to Friday (except on Bank Holidays).
6. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
