National Highways Limited (Company no. 9346363) hereby gives notice that it has made an Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A46 Trunk Road at Stoneleigh in the County of Warwickshire.

The effect of the Order, which comes into force on 1 December 2023, will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting at any time (subject to exemptions) in the layby situated adjacent to –

a) the exit slip road leading from the northbound carriageway of the A46, to the roundabout junction with Stoneleigh Road, at Stoneleigh (the roundabout), approximately 35 metres southwest of the roundabout; and

b) the exit slip road leading from the southbound carriageway of the A46 to the roundabout, approximately 67 metres northeast of the roundabout.

A copy of the Order, together with a plan and a Statement of the reasons for making the Order, may be inspected during opening hours at Kenilworth Library, 11 Smalley Place, Kenilworth CV8 1QG; Warwick Library, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick CV34 4RL; or may be seen at or obtained by application to Richard Cullis at National Highways, The Cube, 199 Wharfside Street, Birmingham B1 1RN; or may be obtained by emailing orders-birmingham@nationalhighways.co.uk.

Any person wishing to question the validity of, or of any provision contained in, the Order, on the ground that it is not within the powers with respect to the Order conferred by the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of, or of any instrument made under, any provision of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of 23 November 2023, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
