NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 47, 49, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Orders would be to:

(a) introduce waiting restrictions in Archers Road, Orpington and Oakdene Road, Orpington as set out in the Schedule to this Notice;

(b) change the day of operation of existing waiting restrictions in Duddington Close, Mottingham currently operating Tuesday 8am to 12 noon, to operating Wednesday 8am to 12noon as set out in the Schedule to this Notice.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.

Copies of the proposed Orders, of the plans of the scheme and of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at Bromley Council, Churchill Court, Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1DP.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Assistant of Traffic and Parking, Bromley Council, Churchill Court, Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1DP, or by email to TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/756 not later than 29th November 2023.

Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

No Waiting At Any Time:-

ARCHER ROAD, Orpington, (a) both sides, (i) from the north eastern kerbline of Oakdene Road north eastwards for a distance of 10m.

OAKDENE ROAD, Orpington, the north east side, (a)(i) from a point 10m north west of the north western kerbline of Archer Road to a point 10m south east of the south eastern kerbline of Archer Road.

No Waiting Wednesdays between 8.00am and 12noon.

DUDDINGTON CLOSE, Mottingham, (a) both sides, (i) from a point 8m south of the southern kerbline of Dunkery Road to a point 0.5m north of the southern boundary of No. 82 Clayhill Crescent.
