In accordance with section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, notice is hereby given that the B.A.T. Additional Retirement Benefit Scheme and B.A.T Additional Retirement Benefit Scheme for Overseas Employees (the “Schemes”) commenced winding up with effect from 30 September 2023.

B.A.T Additional Retirement Benefit Scheme Trustee Limited, as trustee of the Schemes (the “Trustee”) wishes to contact anyone who believes that they may be entitled to benefits from the Schemes and has not been told that the Schemes are being wound up.

The Trustee requests that any member, other beneficiary, creditor or anyone else having any claim against, or claiming to be beneficially interested in, the assets of the Schemes sends written details of their claim to the Trustee on or before 31 January 2024 at the following postal or e-mail address:

When writing to the Trustee, please provide the full name, address, date of birth, national insurance number, former employer name(s) and employment dates for the person concerned.

After 31 January 2024, the Trustee will complete the winding of the Schemes and, in doing so, will have regard only to the claims of which it has had notice on or before that date. The Trustee shall not be liable to anyone of whose claim it has had no notice before that date.
