This notice is addressed to former and current employees of Emerson Automation Solutions Final Control UK Limited (formerly known as Pentair Manufacturing UK Limited, Safety Systems UK Limited, Bailey Birkett Limited, IMI Bailey Valves Limited and Sir W.H. Bailey & Co Limited).

Emerson UK Trustees Limited, the trustee of the Emerson UK Pension Plan (the "Trustee" of the “Plan”) intends to commence the process of winding-up the EBCO Segregated Section of the Plan (the “EBCO Segregated Section”) with effect from 19 September 2023.

If you were or are an employee of one of the above companies and a member of the EBCO Segregated Section or a former member of the EBCO Pension Scheme or the EBCO Section of the Emerson Valves & Controls UK Defined Benefit Pension Scheme) and think you are entitled to benefits under the EBCO Segregated Section, but have not been contacted in respect of these benefits, or you are a spouse, civil partner, child or dependant of a deceased member, please contact the Trustee of the Plan in writing using the e-mail address below no later than two months from the date of publication of this notice:

You should include your full name, any former names by which you have been known, your date of birth, your national insurance number, details of your current address and any benefits that you think you are entitled to.

The Trustee has insured the benefits for all known Members of the EBCO Segregated Section by means of a bulk annuity purchase with Just.

After expiry of the two-month period, the Trustee will distribute the assets of the EBCO Segregated Section and the Trustee of the Plan shall not be liable to any person in respect of any claim, interest or entitlement they may have in relation to the EBCO Segregated Section but of which the Trustee has not already been notified.

If you already receive a pension from the EBCO Segregated Section, or you have received announcements from the Trustee regarding the winding-up and transfer of the EBCO Segregated Section’s liabilities, you do not need to write to the Trustee as they already hold full details about your entitlement.
