NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925 – THE IRWIN MITCHELL 1989 PENSION SCHEME

Notice is given under section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 to all beneficiaries, creditors and any others having any claims against, or claiming to be beneficially interested in, the Irwin Mitchell 1989 Pension Scheme (the “Scheme”) that:

• The Scheme has terminated and is in the process of being wound up, as the pension funds of its known members and their beneficiaries were transferred over to the Legal & General Master Trust on 21 April 2023, or were otherwise transferred or paid out as requested by the members.

• Its Trustees will proceed to distribute the Scheme’s assets among the persons entitled to them, having regard only to the claims of which the Trustees have had notice of at that time.

• The Scheme shall then be wound up. Its Trustees shall not then be liable for the assets of the Scheme so distributed, to any person of whose claims or demands the Trustees have not had prior written notice.

Please contact the Trustees if you believe you still have any entitlement to benefits from the Scheme that have not transferred over to the Legal & General Master Trust, or otherwise been transferred or paid out at your request, by sending particulars in writing to the Trustees, through their legal representatives at Irwin Mitchell LLP, Penny Cogher (penny.cogher@irwinmitchell.com) and/or Michael White (michael.white@irwinmitchell.com) both at Irwin Mitchell LLP, 40 Holborn Viaduct, London EC1N 2PZ. Details must be sent in writing within two months of the date of the publication of this notice.
