This notice is addressed to current and former employees of Maersk Logistics and Services UK Limited, Furness Withy & Company Limited, Furness Withy (Chartering) Limited and Hamburg Südamerikanische Dampfschifffahrts-Gesellschaft A/S & Co KG (trading as Hamburg Sud), and their spouses, partners, children and dependants.

The above-named occupational pension scheme started to wind up on 7 July 2023.

If you think you are entitled to benefits under the Scheme and have not recently received correspondence about the Scheme, please contact the Trustee of the Scheme by writing to: David Noakes, Pensions Manager for the Scheme, C/O Svitzer Marine Limited, Tees Wharf, Dockside Road, Middlesbrough, TS3 6AB.

You should include details of your full name, date of birth, current address and of any benefits you think you are entitled to (including, where applicable, details of the period of employment period to which your claim relates).

You should provide this information no later than 2 months after the date on which this notice is published, after which the Trustee will proceed to complete the winding-up of the Scheme and will distribute the remaining assets of the Scheme having regard only to the claims of which it then has notice. The Trustee shall not be liable to any person of whose claims and demands they have not had notice.

Any person who has been contacted by the Trustee at their current address or has already made a claim and received a response need not re-apply to the Trustee.
