The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (North East) (No. 23) Order 2023" authorising the stopping up of two northern part widths of Trevelyan Court, two irregular shaped areas of highway and two northern part widths of unnamed highway all within the vicinity of Trevelyan Court at Newbiggin Hall, in the City of Newcastle upon Tyne. This is to enable development as permitted by Newcastle City Council, under reference 2018/0640/01/DET.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NE/S247/5483). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at The Post Office Trevelyan Drive, Unit 5 Newbiggin Hall Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE5 4BR.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 05 September 2023.
