TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDER

THE LEWISHAM (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES AND WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO *) ORDER 202*

THE LEWISHAM (CHARGED FOR PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO *) ORDER 202*

The Council of the London Borough of Lewisham proposes to make the above Traffic Regulation Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

1. The effect of these proposals is as follows:

PTO 1023

The effect of the above orders will be to introduce the following restrictions to facilitate the introduction of a Residents Parking Permit scheme Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.

A. No waiting at any time

Bankhurst Road junction protection on both sides west of Ravensbourne Park.

Ravensbourne Park Crescent on the southern side to extend from Ravensbourne Park to Montacute Road.

Chilthorne Close on both sides including the turning area except proposed resident permit bays on the west side.

B. No waiting Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm

Ravensbourne Park Crescent on the north side across each vehicle dropped crossing (including driveways)

Ravensbourne Park a) on the east side from the entrance to Ravensbourne Park Gardens north to existing no waiting at any time; b) on the westside from the entrance to Ravensbourne Park Gardens to existing bus stop; c) on both sides from the existing no waiting at any time north of Ravensbourne Park Crescent to the existing pedestrian crossing except for proposed resident permit bays outside No 85.

Chilthorne Close on the west side opposite access to Nos 3-7 covering dropped crossing.

C. Resident permit holders only

Ravensbourne Park a) on the west side north of No 8 and the northern junction with Ravensbourne Park Crescent; b) on the west side north of Ravensbourne Park Crescent.

Ravensbourne Park Crescent various locations on the northern side between No51 and No 69 except for where vehicle dropped crossing exist.

Chilthorne Close on the west side outside Nos 23 and along No 60 Ravensbourne Park Crescent except for existing dropped crossings.

D. Shared use – resident permit holder

Ravensbourne Park Crescent on the north side opposite Nos 66 to approximately 5m west of No 62

E. Eletric vehicle only

Ravensbourne Park Crescent on the north side opposite No 68

F. Car Club vehicle only

Ravensbourne Park Crescent on the north side opposite No 68

2. Copies of the draft Order plans and Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be obtained by emailing a request to trafficorders@lewisham.gov.uk quoting reference ‘PTO - 1023’.

3. Comments on the proposals for or against, together with the reasons for which they are made should be sent through the lewisham.traffweb.app website or in writing to trafficorders@lewisham.gov.uk or Lewisham Transport Policy & Development, 5th Floor Laurence House, 1 Catford Road, London SE6 4RU, quoting reference ‘PTO-1023’ to arrive not later than 21 days from the date of publication of this notice.

4. All written representations received concerning Traffic Regulation Orders are public documents that may be inspected by any person on demand.
