The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (South West) (No.18) Order 2023" authorising the stopping up of an irregular shaped area of highway which lies to the west of the Stonehenge Inn public house at Durrington in the County of Wiltshire. This is to enable development as permitted by Wiltshire Council under reference PL/2022/04729.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SW/S247/5284). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Town Council Office, Village Hall, High Street, Durrington, Wiltshire, SP4 8AD.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 3 August 2023.
