NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925

MUFG SECURITIES EMEA PLC PENSION SCHEME

To the Members and others claiming under the MUFG Securities EMEA plc Pension Scheme (the “Scheme”). Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that the Trustees of the Scheme are finalising its winding-up and wish to trace anyone, including former employees (whether full-time or part-time) of MUFG Securities EMEA plc, who thinks they have (or might have) a claim against the Scheme or an interest or entitlement to benefits under the Scheme.

The Trustees believe they have identified everyone who has a right to benefits under the Scheme.

If you were a member of the Scheme and consider that you may have been entitled to benefits from the Scheme or have a claim against the Scheme and have not already been contacted, please write to Jeffrey Deans, Save & Invest, 100 West Regent Street, Glasgow, G2 2QD with full written particulars of any such claim, interest or entitlement, including your full name, address, NI Number, date of birth, dates of employment with MUFG Securities EMEA plc and any relevant papers, within 2 months of the date of publication of this advertisement.

After 15 September 2023, the Trustees will proceed with winding-up the Scheme and distributing its assets having regard only to the claims, interests and entitlements of which they have been notified. The Trustees will not be liable to any person whose claim, interest or entitlement they have not been notified of within the 2-month period (15 July 2023 to 15 September 2023).

If the Trustees, or Broadstone Corporate Benefits Limited, the Scheme Administrator, are already in contact with you (for example if you have received correspondence from them in the last year or are receiving a pension) please do not reply to this notice as your interest has already been noted.
