NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEES ACT 1925

BEALES PENSION SCHEME

Notice is hereby given to all parties who are or were members of the Beales Pension Scheme (‘the Scheme’) that the scheme entered an assessment period for potential admittance into the Pension Protection Fund (‘PPF’). Following the assessment period, the scheme has not transferred to the PPF but members’ benefits will be secured with an insurance company. The Scheme will then be wound up.

The Trustees believe that all members of the Scheme and their benefits under it have been identified and members announcements have been sent to all members for whom the Scheme holds an address.

If you were an employee of Beale Limited or J E Beale Plc and believe you were a member of the Scheme or otherwise believe you may be entitled to benefits from the Scheme and you have not received any announcements relating to the Scheme or been contacted the Scheme’s administrators, Barnett Waddingham LLP, please post notification of your claim specifying your full name, address, particulars of membership of, or other claim on, the Scheme to: Beales Pension Scheme, c/o Melissa McCarthy, Barnett Waddingham LLP, London Wall Place, 2, 123 London Wall, London EC2Y 5AU.

The Trustees shall not be liable to any person of whose claim, demand or interest they have not had notice in respect of the assets of the Scheme or any part of it so distributed.
