THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARKING AND DAGENHAM (WAITING, STOPPING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS) (LONGBRIDGE ROAD ROUNDABOUT AND LIGHTED LADY ROUNDABOUT) AMENDMENT NO. * ORDER 202*
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham in exercise of its powers under sections 6, 124 and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended (hereinafter called “the Act”) and all other enabling legislation and powers and after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis in accordance with Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Act propose to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke the 24hr Clearway at the following locations:
a. Longbridge Road roundabout for its entire extent, Longbridge Road from a point 42 metres south-west to a point 42 metres north-east of its junction with Longbridge Road roundabout, Fanshawe Avenue from its junction with Longbridge Road roundabout for 47 metres in a north-westerly direction, and North Street from a point 27 metres south to a point 20 metres north of its junction with Gurdwara Way.
2. Replace the No Waiting 8am-6.30pm restrictions with No Waiting at any time and no loading at any time restrictions at the following locations:
a. Longbridge Road roundabout for its entire extent, Longbridge Road from a point 42 metres south-west to a point 11 metres north-east of its junction with Longbridge Road roundabout, Fanshawe Avenue from its junction with Longbridge Road roundabout for 47 metres in a north-westerly direction,
3. Introduce No loading at any time restrictions on Longbridge Road, both sides, from its junction with Longbridge Road roundabout to the southern boundary of No. 75 Longbridge Road.
4. Revoke the No Waiting at any time restrictions on Gurdwara Way, south side, from its junction with Wakering Road for 67 metres in an easterly direction.
5. Revoke the No waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6.30pm restrictions at the following locations:
a. Gurdwara Way, south-west side, from its junction with Longbridge Road roundabout for 23 metres in a north-westerly direction.
b. Gurdwara Way north-east side, from its junction with Longbridge Road roundabout for 22 metres in a north-westerly direction
6. Revoke the No waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6.30pm restrictions and No Loading Mon-Sat 8am-9.30am and 4.30pm-6.30pm restrictions at the following locations:
a. London Road, north side, from its junction with Lighted Lady roundabout for 14 metres in an easterly direction.
b. London Road, south side, from its junction with Lighted Lady roundabout for 7 metres in an easterly direction
7. Revoke the No Loading Mon-Sat 7am-10am and 3pm-7pm restrictions on Longbridge Road, south-east side, from a point opposite the southern boundary of No. 75 Longbridge Road for 2.3 metres in a south-westerly direction.
8. Revoke the No Loading Mon-Sat 8am-9.30am and 4.30pm-6.30pm restrictions at the following locations:
a. Longbridge Road, north-west side, fronting Nos. 35-41 Longbridge Road.
b. Longbridge Road, south-east side, fronting Nos. 42-48 Longbridge Road.
A copy of the draft Orders together with a plan and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing the Orders are available to view on the Councils website by visiting the following webpage https://www.lbbd.gov.uk/parking/parking-area and selecting ‘New and proposed traffic and parking schemes’ or available for inspection at the Adult Library, First Floor, Barking Learning Centre, Barking between the hours of 9.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
