STATION ROAD, N11 - PROVISION OF A ZEBRA PEDESTRIAN CROSSING, LOCAL WIDENING OF FOOTWAYS AND CENTRAL ISLAND

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (the Council) has approved, under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the introduction of a zebra pedestrian crossing in Station Road, N11 West of Lower Park Road, N11. The extent of the crossing including the associated zig-zag markings (which would prohibit all vehicles from stopping on them for any reason at all times) would be as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
2. A copy of the plan showing the location of the proposed crossing and local widening of the footways and central island, together with other relevant documents can be inspected at the Town Library, 66 Church Street, Enfield EN2 6AX, Monday to Fridays 9am – 5pm inclusive.
3. Persons who want to make any representations in respect of the proposed crossing should write to the Head of Traffic and Transportation, the Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex, EN1 3XD, quoting the reference TG52/1528, or by e-mail to traffic@enfield.gov.uk by 3 May 2023

4. Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any letter you write to the Council in response to this Notice may be available to the press and to the public, who would be entitled to take copies of it if they so wished.
