The King has been pleased by Royal Warrant under His Royal Sign Manual dated 20 March 2023 to appoint Dame Lynne Gillian Owens, DBE., QPM., as Deputy Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in accordance with the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011, for a period of five years commencing on the 20 February 2023 until and concluding on the 19 February 2028.
