The King has been graciously pleased by Royal Warrant under His Royal Sign Manual dated 16th January 2023 to give and grant unto Kettering Town Council His Majesty’s Royal Licence and Authority that it may bear and use the Arms and Crest granted and assigned unto The Mayor Aldermen and Burgesses of the Borough of Kettering by Letters Patent under the hands and Seals of Garter, Clarenceux and Norroy Kings of Arms bearing date the Twenty-sixth day of September 1938 the said Arms and Crest being first duly exemplified according to the Laws of Arms and recorded in His Majesty’s College of Arms: otherwise the said Royal Licence and Permission to be void and of none effect. And to command that the said Royal Concession and Declaration be recorded in the College of Arms.
