THE ELECTRICITY WORKS (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2017
Notice is hereby given that Energiekontor UK Ltd, company registration number 03830819, with its Registered Office at 114 St Martin’s Lane, Covent Garden, London, WC2N 4BE, has applied to the Scottish Ministers for consent under section 36 of the Electricity Act 1989 to construct and operate the Craiginmoddie Wind Farm on land approximately 4km south east of Dailly within South Ayrshire (Central Grid Reference NX 313988). The installed capacity of the proposed generating station would be up to 99.4MW, comprising 14 wind turbines with a ground to blade tip height of 200 metres. The proposal is subject to Environmental Impact Assessment.
Energiekontor UK Ltd has now submitted additional information to Scottish Ministers, which includes information relating to peat disturbance and aviation lighting.

Any representations to the application may be submitted by email to the Scottish Government Planning and Environmental Appeals Division mailbox at DPEA@gov.scot, or by post to Planning and Environmental Appeals Division, Ground Floor, Hadrian House, Callendar Business Park, Callendar Road, Falkirk, FK1 1XR, identifying the proposal and specifying the grounds for representation.
Representations should be dated, clearly stating the name (in block capitals), and full return email and postal address of those making representations. Only representations sent by email to DPEA@gov.scot will receive acknowledgement.
All representations should be received not later than 3 March 2023, although Ministers may consider representations received after this date.
Any subsequent additional information which is submitted by the developer will be subject to further public notice in this manner, and representations to such information will be accepted as per this notice.
As a result of a statutory objection from the relevant planning authority, or where Scottish Ministers decide to exercise their discretion to do so, Scottish Ministers can also cause a Public Local Inquiry (PLI) to be held.
Following examination of the environmental information and all views and representations received, Scottish Ministers will determine this application for consent in one of two ways:
· Consent the proposal, with or without conditions attached; or
· Reject the proposal
All previous representations received in relation to this development remain valid.
