1. The London Borough of Hounslow proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and install three road humps under the Highways Act 1980.

2. The flat-top road humps would have a maximum height of 75mm, a maximum gradient of 1 in 12, and would be situated in:

a) Central Avenue, from its junction with Hall Road north-westwards with a maximum plateau length of 6.6 metres;

b) Eaton Road, from its junction with Hall Road westwards with a maximum plateau length of 1.6 metres; and

c) Heath Road, from its junction with Hall Road westwards with a maximum plateau length of 3.7 metres.

3. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Order would be to:-

a) Introduce additional “no waiting at any time” restrictions in Central Avenue; and

b) Introduce additional “no waiting at any time” restrictions in Eaton Road, at their junctions with Hall Road.

4. The general effect of the Twickenham Stadium Event Day parking places Order would be to reduce the length of parking places on both sides of Eaton Road, at the eastern end, to accommodate the proposed extended waiting restrictions.

5. Documents giving further information of the proposed Orders and road humps proposals can be viewed for a period of 21 days from the date of this Notice online at hounslow.gov.uk by typing in the term “traffic notices” in the search bar.

6. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders or road humps should send a statement in writing, stating the grounds of the objection, to the Assistant Director of Traffic, Transport & Parking, Hounslow Council, Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road, Hounslow, Middlesex TW3 3EB or by email to trafficorders@hounslow.gov.uk quoting the reference TMO/P003/23, to be received by no later than Friday, 3 February 2023.
