1. The London Borough of Hounslow hereby gives notice that on 7 November 2022 it made the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Orders will come into operation on 12 November 2022.

2. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Order will be to:-

a) Align “no waiting at any time” restrictions in the Order to match what is on the ground in Chertsey Road, The Promenade, Derby Road and Thompson Road ; and

b) Align the Order with the “no waiting” restrictions as marked on the ground on Derby Road and Thompson Road.

3. The general effect of the Loading Places Order will be to introduce a loading bay in the layby on Chertsey Road Feltham, outside Woodmans House.

4. The general effect of the Gunnersbury Estate Parking Places Order will be to align the parking restrictions as signed and marked on the ground.

5. The general effect of the School Streets Order will be to align the Order with operating times of the school streets as signed on Pears Road and School Road, Hounslow.

6. Documents giving further information of the Orders can be viewed for a period of six weeks from the date of this Notice online at hounslow.gov.uk by typing in the term “traffic notices” in the search bar.

7. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
