SOUTH AFRICAN CO-OPERATIVE CITRUS EXCHANGE LIMITED PENSION AND LIFE ASSURANCE SCHEME
The Trustees of the South African Co-Operative Citrus Exchange Limited Pension and Life Assurance Scheme (the "Scheme") have recently completed a buy-out exercise whereby the benefits payable (including benefits potentially payable) to members and/or other beneficiaries of the Scheme were secured with two reputable insurance companies.
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that the winding-up of the Scheme will shortly be completed.
If you have already been contacted by or on behalf of the Trustees (or their Scheme Administrator, XPS) regarding the buy-out of your Scheme benefits with an insurance company then you do not need to take any action. However, if you have not been contacted in this regard, and you believe you have a claim against, or entitlement to a pension or any benefit from, or interest in the Scheme you are hereby required to send particulars in writing by the deadline of 2 months from the date the notice is placed, of your claim or entitlement (together with your full name, present address, date of birth, National Insurance number and the full name of the Scheme) to the Trustees of the South African Co-Operative Citrus Exchange Limited Pension and Life Assurance Scheme c/o James Foster, XPS Pensions Group, Phoenix House, 1 Station Hill, Reading RG1 1NB / james.foster@xpsgroup.com.
After this date, the Trustees will complete the winding-up of the Scheme and, in doing so, will have regard only to those persons of whose claims and/or entitlements they have notice and will not be liable to any other person for any claim or entitlement of which it does not have notice.
