NOTICE UNDER THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925
SIGNET GROUP PENSION SCHEME (THE “SCHEME”)
NOTICE TO CREDITORS AND BENEFICIARIES UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925
Signet Group Limited (as the principal company of the Scheme) has given formal notice to Signet Pension Trustee Limited (the “Trustee”), as trustee of the Scheme, to start the process of winding-up the Scheme with effect from 14 April 2022.
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 and any other relevant power, that the Trustee of the Scheme is in the process of winding-up the Scheme.
Any creditor, member or beneficiary of the Scheme or any other person who believes they have a claim against, or entitlement to a pension or any benefit from, or interest in the Scheme is hereby requested to write to:

Claimants should provide full details of their claim, including their full name, address, national insurance number, date of birth, copies of any relevant paperwork and, if applicable, dates of employment to make a claim. Please clearly quote the Scheme’s name in all correspondence.
All claims must be made by 31 August 2022 so that they may be considered before the Scheme is wound-up. After this date the Trustee will proceed with the winding up of the Scheme, having regard only to the claims and interests of which they have prior written notice.
The Trustee will not be liable to or in respect of any person whose claim or entitlement has not been so notified to it.
Any person who has been contacted by the Trustee regarding the “buy-out” of the Scheme with an insurer or who has already made a claim and received a response need not respond to this notice.
