The Poole Harbour Commissioners Retirement Gratuity Scheme (“the Scheme”) was established by a Trust Deed dated 6 July 1981. This notice is addressed to those who are or were members of the Scheme or are a widow/widower, child or dependent of such a member of the Scheme.

The Scheme was established by the Poole Harbour Commissioners of Harbour Office, 20 New Quay Road, Poole, Dorset, BH15 4AF.

Pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, notice is hereby given that the wind up of the Scheme commenced on 21 April 2022. The Trustees sent a notice dated 6 May 2022 to this effect to all known members of the Scheme (for whom we hold contact details) in accordance with the Occupational Pension Scheme (Disclosure of Information) Regulations 1996. You must contact us within 2 months of the date of publication of this notice i.e. no later than 23 July 2022. After expiry of the 2 month period the Trustees will distribute the assets of the Scheme amongst the persons entitled to them, having regard only to claims of which they then have notice.
