NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925

AFONWEN LAUNDRY LTD RETIREMENT AND DEATH BENEFITS SCHEME (THE “SCHEME") WIND UP

This notice is addressed to former members, beneficiaries or creditors of the Scheme listed above.

Pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, notice is hereby given that the Afonwen Laundry Ltd Retirement Death Benefits Scheme commenced wind-up with effect on and from 31 December 2021 and the current Trustee intends to secure the remaining assets of the Scheme amongst the persons entitled to them. This notice is intended for any persons (including, but not limited to, any former employees of Afonwen Laundry Ltd, Afonwen Services Ltd or The Afonwen Steam Laundry Ltd) who believe they are a member, beneficiary or creditor of the Scheme but who have not been contacted by the Trustee in connection with the winding-up of the Scheme.

Any person who believes they have any interest, claim or entitlement in the Scheme that has not been notified to the Trustee should write and provide details of their membership, interest, claim or entitlement to the Trustee of the Afonwen Laundry Ltd Retirement and Death Benefits Scheme, c/o Margo Green, Johnson Service Group PLC, Johnson House, Abbots Park, Monks Way, Preston Brook, Cheshire, WA7 3GH.

Details must be sent within two months of the date of publication of this notice. In support of your claim you should provide full details, name, address, date of birth, National Insurance number and periods of employment, together with any relevant supporting documentation.

After expiry of the two month period from the date publication of this notice the Trustee will proceed to distribute the assets of the Scheme and will have regard only to the claims of which it then has notice. The Trustee shall not be liable to any person of whose claims or demands it then has not had notice.

If you are already received correspondence from the Trustee in respect of the wind-up of the Scheme, you should not respond to this notice. This notice is placed with the intention of tracing any members and beneficiaries of whom the Trustee is not already aware or does not hold a current address.
