NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 32, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and Section 23 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to implement a Zebra Crossing on Alexandra Park Road N10, Colney Hatch Lane N10, Wakefield Road N15, Woodstock Road N4.
The general effect of the Orders:
1. To remove double yellow lines (No Waiting at Any Time) on the south east side of Alexandra Park Road N10 outside Vicarage, No.32 and No.30, a distance of 39.85 metres.
2. To remove double yellow lines (No Waiting at Any Time) on the north west side of Alexandra Park Road N10 outside St Andrews Parish Church, a distance of 18.06 metres.
3. To remove double yellow lines (No Waiting at Any Time) on north east side of Colney Hatch Lane N10 outside No.130-124, a length of 26 metres.
4. To remove single yellow lines (No Waiting 8am-6.30pm), on south west side of Colney Hatch Lane N10 outside No.43-49, a distance of 24.6 metres.
5. To remove double yellow lines (No Waiting at Any Time) on south west side of Colney Hatch Lane N10 outside No.49-51, a distance of 14.4 metres.
6. To remove footway parking on south west side of Colney Hatch lane N10 outside No.45-51, a distance of 15 metres.
7. To introduce double yellow lines (No Waiting at Any Time) on the west side of Wakefield Road N15 outside No.17, a distance of 2.4 metres.
8. To remove Resident Parking Bay on the west side of Wakefield Road N15 outside No.17 to a point adjacent to No.31 Pembroke Road, a distance of 43.5 metres.
9. To remove Permit Parking Bay on the east side of Wakefield Road N15 opposite No.17 to a point opposite No.31 Pembroke Road, a distance of 41.1 metres.
10. To remove Permit Bay on the north east side of Woodstock Road N4 outside No.33, a distance of 4.1 metres.
11. To remove Resident Bay on the north east side of Woodstock Road N4 outside No.109, a distance of 9 metres.
12. To introduce double kerb blips (No Loading at Any Time) on the east side of Woodstock Road N4 outside No.97/95 to the shared property boundary of No.89/87.
13. To remove double yellow lines (No Waiting at Any Time) on the south west side of Woodstock Road N4 from outside No.88 to its junction with Perth Road.
14. To introduce Business Bay operating at zone times on the south west side of Woodstock Road N4 outside No.88/62, a distance of 9.5 metres.
15. To introduce double kerb blips (No Loading at Any Time) on both sides of Perth Road N4 at junction with Woodstock Road N4, a distance of 9 metres.
16. To remove double yellow lines (No Waiting at Any Time) on the south west side of Woodstock Road N4 from the south eastern kerb line of Perth Road, south east for 9.8 metres.
17. To introduce double kerb blips (No Loading at Any Time) on the south west side of Woodstock Road N4 from a point opposite No.103 to the existing School Keep Clear markings, a distance of 28.7 metres.
18. To introduce No Stopping Mon-Fri 8am-5pm on school entrance markings on the west side of Woodstock Road N4 outside Stroud Green Primary School, a distance of 25.6 metres.
19. To remove Resident Parking Bays on the west side of Woodstock Road N4 outside Stroud Green Primary School, a distance of 2.5 metres and 6 metres to allow for the installation of the above School Keep Clear markings.
20. To introduce double kerb blips (No Loading at Any Time) on the north west side of Perth Road N4 outside No.38/40, a distance of 12.6 metres.
21. To introduce double kerb blips (No Loading at Any Time) on the south east side of Perth Road N4 outside No.17a, a distance of 13 metres.
22. To introduce double kerb blips (No Loading at Any Time) on the south east side of Perth Road N4 at junction with Ennis Road outside Stroud Green Primary School, a distance of 18.2 metres
. 23. To introduce double kerb blips (No Loading at Any Time) on the west side of Ennis Road N4 at junction with Perth Road N4, south for 16 metres.
24. To introduce double kerb blips (No Loading at Any Time) on the east side of Ennis Road N4 at junction with Perth Road N4, south for 68 metres.
The above parking changes are required to facilitate the installation of the below Zebra Crossings and associated zig-zag markings. The crossings would be supported with associated zig-zag markings, on which vehicles would be prohibited from stopping at all times. These will be placed on the carriageway either side of the crossing; no more than 17 metres in both directions.
It is proposed that a Zebra Crossing would be introduced on the following roads:
1. Alexandra Park Road N10, with the centre located 10.23 metres south west of the shared property boundary of No.32 and Vicarage.
2. Colney Hatch Lane N10, with the centre located 3.7 metres north west of the shared property boundary of No.45/47.
3. Wakefield Road N15, with the centre located 5.9 metres south of the shared property boundary of No.13/11.
4. Woodstock Road N4, with the centre located 2.9 metres north west of the north western kerb line of Perth Road.
Copies of the proposed Order and of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders and plans showing the locations and effects of the Order may be inspected during normal office working hours until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made or the Council decides not to make the Order, at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or can be viewed online at https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey
