SAB UK STAFF PENSION SCHEME (FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE “SABMILLER PLC STAFF PENSION SCHEME” AND THE “SOUTH AFRICAN BREWERIES PLC STAFF PENSION SCHEME”)

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925

Pursuant to Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, the Trustees of the SAB UK Staff Pension Scheme (the “Scheme”) are due to wind up the Scheme in the next 90 days and give notice of their intention to distribute the assets of the Scheme amongst those who are entitled to benefits under the Scheme. The Trustees have corresponded by post to all known members of the Scheme in accordance with the Occupational Pension Schemes (Disclosure of Information) Regulations 2013. All known members’ and beneficiaries’ benefits within the Scheme have been secured via a bulk transfer to the AB InBev UK Ltd Pension Plan (“the ABI Plan”) before the wind-up process began.

The following companies are current or former participants of the Scheme

- ABI SAB Group Holding Limited (formerly called “SABMiller Limited”, “SABMiller plc” and “South African Breweries Plc”)

- MillerBrands (UK) Limited

- Pilsner Urquell International Limited

- SAB Management Services Limited

- Westgate Services Inc

- Asahi Europe Limited

- Asahi UK Limited

The Trustees of the Scheme require

(a) any former employee of one of the above companies, or if such a person is deceased

(b) the spouse or dependant of that person,

who in either case is, or thinks they might be, entitled to benefits under the Scheme, and

(c) any other person who believes they may have a claim against the Scheme,

to provide written particulars of any such entitlement or claim to Courtney Gardiner at courtney.gardiner@mercer.com, or by post to Mercer Limited, 1 Whitehall Quay Whitehall Road, Leeds LS1 4HR on or before 14 March 2022.

After this date, the Trustees will proceed to finalise benefits and claims in relation to the Scheme and, in doing so, will have regards only to benefits and claims of which it has notice on 14 March 2022. The Trustees shall not be liable in respect of any benefits and claims of which it does not have notice on 14 March 2022. Notification is not required from anyone who has

- received correspondence dated August 2021 relating to the bulk transfer to the ABI Plan and winding-up of the Scheme, or

- previously taken or transferred their benefit entitlements from the Scheme, or

- had their benefits transferred away from the Scheme as part of the bulk transfer to The UK Asahi Employee Pension Plan (a section of the BlackRock Master Trust) in 2017.
