THE CAMDEN (WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND REVOCATION OF PARKING PLACES) TRAFFIC ORDER 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Camden made the above mentioned Experimental Traffic Order on 22 December 2021 under Sections 6, 45,46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The general nature and effect of the order, which continues in force indefinitely the provisions of the Camden (Prescribed Routes) Experimental Traffic Order (No. 9) 2020, is as follows.

PRINCE OF WALES ROAD, NW1

In order to facilitate the construction of an eastbound cycle lane, all parking places on the north side of the carriageway will be removed between Haverstock Hill and Grafton Road. Eleven “CA-F” permit holders parking places are situated along this stretch of the road. A motorcycle parking place, car club parking place, loading bay and a paid-for parking place would also be removed. The order also designates a prohibition on waiting by vehicles at any time along the same length of the road.

Copies of the order, which will come into force on 31 December 2021 and other documents relating to the order may be viewed at camden.gov.uk/recently-advertised-proposals or obtained by contacting traffic.orders@camden.gov.uk or may be inspected in person by appointment only at 5 Pancras Square, London, N1C 4AG, between the hours of 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays excluding bank and public holidays (please contact traffic.orders@camden.gov.uk or 020-7974 4788 to arrange an appointment). Any person desiring to question the validity of the order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
