Shares are 100% owned by Ørsted Onshore UK Limited, 5 Howick Place, London, United Kingdom, SW1P 1WG.

Ballykeel Wind Farm is located in Ballykeel and Old Freehold townlands, 6.5km west of Larne, County Antrim. It is accessed off the Starbog Road, which is off Shanes Hill Road. The grid reference for the substation of the wind farm is Easting 734038 Northing 902688.

8. A description of how those stations will, in each case, be fuelled or driven:

The stations will be driven Onshore Wind Turbine Generators.

9. The date when any proposed generating stations are expected to be commissioned:

August 2022

10. The capacity and type of each unit within the generating station (MW):

The wind farm shall consist of 7 x 2.35 MW turbines resulting in an aggregate maximum power of 16.45 MW. Maximum Export Capacity (MEC) of 16.1 MW.

A statement of the extent (if any) to which the applicant considers it necessary for powers under Schedule 3 (compulsory acquisition of land etc.) and under Schedule 4 (other powers etc.) to the Order to be given through the licence for which he is applying, together with a statement of any specific purposes for which those powers are felt to be necessary.

Ballykeel does not hold any other license with respect to generation, participation in transmission or supply of electricity. The development has full planning permission (Planning Ref F/2013/0244/F) and has a grid connection agreement for the connection of Ballykeel Wind Farm to the NIE Networks Distribution System.
