FAIRFIELD HALLS, PARK LANE, CROYDON PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF PAY-BY-PHONE ONLY OFF-STREET UNDERGROUND CAR PARK
THE CROYDON (OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) (NO.V45) TRAFFIC ORDER 20-
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council propose to make the above Traffic Order under Sections 32, 35, 124 of, and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Order would be:
(a) To designate the area described in the Schedule to this Notice as an underground pay-by-phone only 24 hour off-street public car park, with charges as detailed below;

(b) All vehicles left in the car park specified in the Schedule to this Notice must be parked within marked bays having made payment for their parking time using the pay-by-phone system;
(c) Vehicles that are parked without payment, not parked within marked bays or not parked in accordance with the signs and surface markings displayed would be liable to receive a Penalty Charge Notice.
3. Copies of the proposed Order and all related documents can be inspected until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order, between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.
4. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Order Making Section, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Wetherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA or email Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk quoting the reference PD/CH/V45 by 25 November 2021.
5. The Order is intended to designate a new underground off-street car park at the Fairfield Halls to provide 24 hour pay-by-phone off-street parking for members of the public.
