NOTICE UNDER THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925

The Pension Scheme for The British Home and Hospital for Incurables (“the Scheme”) This Notice relates to the Scheme, which was open to the accrual of benefits from 1 April 1988, and was closed to future accrual of benefits on 31 March 2014. Pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, the Trustee of the Scheme hereby gives notice of their intention to wind up the Scheme and distribute its assets, and require any person having an interest in the Scheme (or have taken a transfer value from the Scheme) to send particulars of his interest or claim in respect of the Scheme to the Trustee within the next two months. After this time, the Trustee may distribute all or any of the assets of the Scheme, to or among the persons entitled thereto, having regard only to the interests or claims of which the Trustee then has had notice. The Trustee shall not, then, be liable to any person of whose claim the Trustee or personal representatives have not had notice at or before the time of distribution.

Notification is not required from persons who are currently in receipt of a pension from the Scheme, or who have already received correspondence relating to the wind-up of the Scheme from the Trustee.
