NOTICE UNDER REGULATION 21
The proposed development to Existing access from unclassified road, 500m south of A71 junction (access to proposed Mill Rig Wind Farm), is subject to assessment under the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2017.
Notice is hereby given that an Environmental Impact Assessment Report has been submitted to East Ayrshire Council by Mill Rig Wind Farm LLP c/o Banks Renewables Ltd relating to the planning application in respect of the Upgrade to A71 junction and existing access track to proposed Mill Rigg wind farm (located in South Lanarkshire Council)
Possible decisions relating to the application are:
(i) Approval of the application without conditions;
(ii) Approval of the application with conditions;
(iii) Refusal of the application.
A copy of the environmental impact assessment report, the associated application and other documents submitted with the application can be viewed at http://eplanning.east-ayrshire.gov.uk/online/ (using 21/0440/PP) during the period of 30 days beginning the next day from the date of this notice.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, no paper copies will be available for inspection.
Copies of the EIA Report may be purchased from Land Use Consultants, 37 Otago Street, Glasgow G12 8JJ at a cost of £250 (excluding landscape graphics) and £10 on CD. Landscape Graphics may be purchased at a cost of £200.
Should additional environmental information be submitted by the applicant, that information will be further publicised by means of a public notice. Any such publication will include details of how representations in relation to that additional information may be made.
Any person who wishes to make representations to East Ayrshire Council about the environmental impact assessment report should make them in writing within that period to the Council at Opera House, 8 John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock KA1 1DD or at http://eplanning.east-ayrshire.gov.uk/online/ quoting reference 21/0440/PP.
