Notice to Creditors and Beneficiaries Under Section 27 of The Trustee Act 1925

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 that the Trustee of the Coventry Building Society Staff Superannuation Fund is winding-up the Fund.

Any creditor or beneficiary of the Fund or any other person who believes they have a claim against, interest in or right to benefits from the Fund is requested to write to the Trustee of the Fund at the following address: The Trustee of the Coventry Building Society Staff Superannuation Fund20-20 Trustee Services Limited, 100 Wood, Street, London EC2V 7AN.

Claimants should provide full particulars of their claim and details of any benefits they feel they are entitled to. Details such as their name, address and date of birth and if applicable, when they worked for the Coventry Building Society or the Stroud and Swindon Building Society (or associated company/society)* along with copies of any relevant documentation must be provided within two months of the date of publication of this notice. Please quote the Fund name in all correspondence.

After this date, the Trustee will proceed to wind-up the Fund and secure benefits for any remaining beneficiaries, having regard only to the claims and interests of which they have prior notice. The Trustee shall not be liable to any person of whose claims and demands they have not had notice.

Any person who has been contacted by the Trustee at their current address or has already made a claim and received a response need not re-apply to the Trustee.

* Please note that the Stroud and Swindon Building Society Retirements Benefit Plan (formerly known as Stroud Building Society Retirement Benefits Plan) merged with the Coventry Building Society Staff Superannuation Fund in 2010 so any potential claimants of the Stroud and Swindon Building Society Retirements Benefit Plan should also contact the Trustee.
