ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM (PARKING PLACES) (ON STREET TARIFF AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2021
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham made the above-mentioned Order under the powers granted by sections 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
2. The general effect of the above proposed Parking Places Order, which will come into operation on 1st March 2021, will be to amend each of the Hammersmith and Fulham Controlled Parking Zones Parking Places parent Orders so that new emissions based parking charges are introduced for Pay and Display and Pay by Phone parking:
a) The sessional hourly charges in respect of a vehicle other than a solo motorcycle for on street parking in all Controlled Parking Zones when paying by phone will be:

b) The sessional hourly charges in respect of a vehicle other than a solo motorcycle for on street parking in all Controlled Parking Zones when paying using a ticket machine will be:

3. The new charges referred to in article 2a of this Notice is based on emissions specified in grams per kilometre driven (g/km) of carbon dioxide gas emitted by the vehicle, as specified on the UK registration certificate issued in respect of that vehicle.
4. An additional £1 surcharge on top of the new emissions based hourly charge will apply to any vehicle propelled by Diesel fuel when paying for parking by phone.
5. The twenty pence per half hour shopper parking tariff in limited stay shopper parking bays will remain the same.
6. For a period of 6 weeks from the day on which the Orders are made, a copy of all Orders and a copy of the Councils statement of reasons for making the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order can be inspected during normal office hours by by contacting the Council via email on traffic.orders@lbhf.gov.uk and requesting a copy of the Order.
7. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of the provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
